Hello!

I’m Sophie, an English children’s book illustrator & designer who now lives as a resident on the Gold Coast in Australia. Sometimes teaching, often baking, frequently travelling, always with tea (and probably Biscoff). Creating art to spread a little extra joy.

I have a degree in illustration from Norwich University of The Arts, where I grew my passion for creating fun characters and playful scenes.

I was highly commended by the judges of the Carmelite Prize for my design-led compositions and vibrant use of colour.

My clients have included Penguin, Hachette, Scholastic, Allen and Unwin and ArsEdition.
